Personal Ghost Story

Heyyyyy! Hank here! I thought I would do a little something different. In addition to my normal stories, I will be adding some personal ghost stories. Most of them will be my own. Because I have a TON. But every once in awhile I will include some from other people if they will allow me to post on here. I will probably make a post on my social media asking for stories. I cannot waiiittt.

So, here's one that made a HUGE impact on me. And, its not my first nor my last but it is certainly one of my faves!

A little background, a cousin of mine died in 1997. Tragically. And I was incredibly close to this cousin. He was like a brother to me. I loved him. He was 11 years older than me..I was 7 when he passed and he was 18.

When i was 8 - turning 9 - literally the next day I got my tonsils out. Surgery was good. All was fine. But the night after the surgery I was in a lot of pain. And, something my cousin would do (when we was alive) was sit on my little dresser - just a shorter dresser that I have had my whole life. He would sit there and pick on me or talk to me or whatever. Well the night after my surgery - almost 2 years after my cousins death - I wake up in the middle of the night and look over and there's my cousin perched on his dresser spot. Letting me know to calm down and be ok. Yeah, I freaked out a bit. He was there. Once, I calmed down I realized that he was just trying to help me through the pain.

I have always cherished this experience. After I stopped freaking out of course. Knowing he was still there and was still looking out for me....

Hope you enjoyed.

XOXO

Hank.
