Another Michigan Word

So, I am trying to find a story that I actually am feeling or can find enough information on. But, I am driving this struggle bus. So, I thought while I am digging through the world wide web I would give you another Michigan Word or maybe slang.

Wait for it.

Jeet.

This is something that a lot of Michigander's use in their every day life. Especially to loved ones or maybe even guests that come to their home.

Jeet is the short way of saying "did you eat"

So, if you were about to make dinner you would say Jeet?

I think this is kind of funny because I have never really thought about how I say. this or how other Michiganders say it.

But, it;s true.

So, please make sure you are always asking Jeet?
